Proposal Submission Cycle 2024/2025


Each year the Technology Fee Advisory Council will seek proposals from FIU Faculty, Staff and Students for the best use of the Technology Fee Fund. The proposals must comply with Florida Statutes Section 1009.24 and must “enhance instructional technology resources for students and faculty.” For the purpose of this procedure, the term “instructional technology” is defined as information technology services, resources, equipment, or software that supports the development and delivery of instruction.


Important Dates
Tuesday, January 16, 2024 - Call for Technology Fee proposals from the university community
Monday, April 8, 2024 - Last day to submit proposal(s) online for VP or Dean Approval
Monday, April 22, 2024 - Last Day for VP or Dean to approve proposal(s)
